Poor Final Round at Northern Trust Ends Brian Stuard’s Season

Brian Stuard found himself in contention after 3 rounds of solid golf at the Northern Trust PGA Tour event this past weekend in New Jersey.  A 5 over par 76 in the final round on Sunday left Stuard in 52nd place for the tournament and 82nd in the FedEx Cup points standings effectively ending his season.

Stuard earned $1,320,637 this season with 3 top ten finishes.  2019 is Stuard second best earnings season falling short of the $1,666,014 he earned in 2016 when he won his lone tournament on the PGA Tour.

Brooks Koepka leads the FedEx Cup points with 2980.  Patrick Reed, who won last weekends Northern Trust event, is in 2nd place with 2774.  Stuard finishes with 2408 points.
