According to a tweet on July 16th on the Northwest Athletics Twitter page Northwest basketball player Sydney Shafer has committed to play college basketball for the Western Michigan Broncos. Shafer, who will be a senior in 2018-19 was a vital part of the Mounties team that was the 2018 Class B girls basketball state runner-up.
Shafer responded to the tweet saying “Thank you!!!!!”
