An unsuccessful weekend for the Tigers as they lost 2-straight to the last place Athletics after winning the home opener at Comerica Park. Detroit went over 16 innings straight without scoring a run between Saturday and Sunday the rubber match was a 7-1 loss. The Tigers sit (6-3) following their first home stand.
