The Spring Arbor University women’s soccer team won their NAIA Tournament second round match on Tuesday 4-2 over Embry-Riddle. With the win the Cougars make their 3rd straight trip to the quarterfinals. 2 seasons ago the Cougars won the National Championship and last season they lost in the championship game.
The #3 seeded SAU team faces #9 Westmont Wednesday (11/29) at 5 PM in Orange Beach, AL.
The win on Tuesday was the 300th of the career for SAU Head Coach John Crist. Crist is 1 of just 3 active NAIA coaches to reach that milestone.
