David Perron scored twice for the Detroit Red Wings, who lost their first game of the 2022-23 season, 5-4, in overtime to the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night at Little Caesars Arena.
Adam Erne opened the scoring to put Detroit ahead, 1-0, early in the first period, but Los Angeles found the back of the net twice and led, 2-1, after 20 minutes.
