Down 14-0 early at Ford Field, Herb Brogan’s Lumen Christi Titans rallied behind tremendous play from their offensive line and and amazing rushing performance by Kadale Williams who had 27 carries, 276 yards and 2 touchdowns as Lumen wins the Division 7 football title for the second year in a row, beating Menominee 34-30. Lumen has tied Farmington Hills Harrison (no longer in existence) with the most football championship in MHSAA history at 13, 11 of those with Titan Coach Herb Brogan. The late Jim Crowley won titles in 1977 and 1979.
After a poor start, Lumen tied the game at 14 in the 2nd quarter.

Late in the 3rd quarter Lumen rallies again for the lead.
After Menominee hit a long pass for a touchdown, Lumen drove to the Menominee 11 yard line with just 4 minutes remaining, it was fourth and 4 when Timmy Crowley connected with Gabe King in the endzone.
Menominee got the ball to midfield when they hand fourth and 4 with about a minute left, the Titans got a huge sack from a freshman.
