The Lions first practice of the season is tomorrow at their Allen Park training facility. Preseason games start next week and the Lions open the preseason against the New York Jets at Ford Field on Thursday, August 13th.
The Lions made a trade with Seattle and sent Mohammed Seisay to the Seahawks for a 2016 6th round draft pick. The trade is still pending on the results of Seisay’s physical. Seisay was signed by Detroit as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska in 2014. He posted 5 tackles in 13 games with the Lions.
