With the 11th pick in the 2nd round (43rd overall) the Detroit Lions selected running back Kerryon Johnson from Auburn. NFL Draft Analyst Mike Mayock said, “Came back this year with a vengeance. He’s a lateral, jump-cut runner and I love how he finishes north-south.”
Johnson will join a deep backfield that now includes LeGarrette Blount, Ameer Abdullah, and Theo Riddick.
