LaMarre To Make Seventh Consecutive Start For Twins

Target Field in Minnesota and the Minnesota Twins lineup has had a distinctive Jackson feel to it the last seven game, with Ryan LaMarre set to make his seventh consecutive start in Center Field. He will bat 7th. The former Lumen Christi and University of Michigan standout has been playing well this season, his first in Minnesota. He’s hitting .310 this year while playing a strong outfield; he’s yet to record an error in 32 opportunities. LaMarre was signed by the Twins on November 30 to a minor league deal and an invite to spring training. He made the big club’s roster March 29, but was sent down April 13. He has been recalled twice since then, with his last call-up coming May 22. Tonight, the 29-year-old LaMarre and the Twins (25-30) will face the Chicago White Sox (18-38) and starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez.
