Women’s and Men’s teams both come out of Mid Michigan College with wins last night.
The women got an 83-57 win on the road last night. Top scorers for the Jets were Jada Patton came of the bench and put up 23 points and pulled down 14 rebounds. Morgan Morris and Zaria Bridgewater both had 18 points, Kaycee Shannon had 10, Keziah Buggs had 8 and Anna Reynolds at had 6 last night. The lady Jets are now 10-4 on the season, 7-1 in the conference and are in a solid first place for the MCCAA West division.
Jackson College men’s team grabbed a 70-63 win on the road as well. Top scores were Alex Daniels with 21 points, Brent Wiles had 15, Azyah Brown put up 10 and grabbed 9 boards. Other scorers include Gabe Damey with 9, Demaso Lebron came off the bench with 8, Alex Smith had 4, and Jackson Barath had 3. The men’s record stands at 11-7 overall and 4-4 in conference play.
Saturday the women’s and men’s team travel to Glen Oaks Community College. The first game tips off at 3pm.
