The Lady Jackets beat Lenawee Christian in Regional semi-finals 25-22, 25-16, 25-23. Iyla Weeks led the offense with 22 kills, a block, 8 digs, and she was 11/12 serving with 3 aces. Annie Saenz played great defense with 10 digs, and she was 13/14 serving with 4 aces and she added 4 kills and a block. Bradie Lehman also played tough defense with 12 digs, 24 assists, 2 kills, and 11/12 serving with 1 ace. Jaylyn Otto had a solid night at the service line, serving 14/16 with 4 aces, 3 kills and 5 digs. Emma Burbo had 8 digs and 4 kills. Bella Coppernoll was 8/8 serving and she also added 3 assists. Lilie Vandenburgh had 4 digs, and Macy Sinden had a dig. There were so many great plays that were just great hustle plays-and those are the plays that win games! The Lady Jackets will play Mendon in the regional finals on Thursday at 6:00 at Bellevue High School.
