Division 2, Region 12 @ Parchment
Otsego 3 vs. Western 1
The varsity volleyball team ended their season with a heart breaking loss to Otsego 26-24, 19-25, 17-25, 19-25. The Panthers fought hard but couldn’t seem to get anything rolling.

Division 3, Region 21 @ Lumen
Monroe St. Mary Catholic 3 vs. Grass Lake 0
The Lady Warriors traveled to Lumen to take on number one ranked Monroe St Mary’s Catholic Central. It wasn’t the Cinderella story as everyone hoped for but each set they gave a good hard battle. They lost in three sets (16-25,17-25,13-25). Scoring 16-17 points on a team like shows the grit our team had. Hanna Alvarez led with 27 digs. Senior Olivia Turner had 19 digs and 6 kills. Seniors Monique Diel and Adrianna Kline both contributed at the net with Diehl having 4 kills and Kline having 5. Ashleigh Simon had 5 kills as well. Nadene Hubbard had 10 digs and Mia Buttigieg had 9. Buttigieg rounded out the night with 25 assists. The Lady Warriors had a very memorable season earning their first ever Conference Title, back to back District Champions, and an overal record of 32-7-1. Volleyball is growing at Grass Lake and the future is bright.
Hanover-Horton 3 vs. Addison 1
The Lady Comets defeated Addison in Regional Semifinals in 4 (25-21, 14-25, 26-24, 25-22). The Lady Comets fought hard and battled through long rallies. Hadlie Barber led the Comets at the service line going for 16 for 16 and she had 13 digs. Chelsea Russ had 11 kills and 8 digs. Morgan Kuhl had 9 kills and 3 blocks. Bree Johnson had 9 kills and 2 blocks for the Comets. Natalee Krage led with 34 assists, 9 digs, and 2 blocks.
