We had a special game tonight against Manchester as we celebrated & recognized all 6 of our Awesome Seniors as they played their last home game of their Columbia Central volleyball career. We may have fell to Manchester in 3 tough battles 17-25, 23-25, 20-25 but we sure did fight hard in the loss.  We led in all 3 sets at some point & just couldn’t hold on to the lead.  Finishing out the league at 3-8 & our overall is 7-16-1.

Leading the Golden Eagles was Berlynn Lyke with 11 kills, 10 assists, 23 digs & 1 block.
Allie Choate came off the bench hot with 6 kills, 4 digs, 1 ace & 1 block
Alison Richardson dished out 12 assists, 6 kills, 11 digs
Abby Keller has gotten comfy in the libero position with 21 digs, 2 assists
Logan Renfer had 15 digs
Rylie Aylesworth had 3 kills
Cecelia Slat had 11 digs, 1 kill
Nora LIebau had 1 kill, ,1 dig
Ayrianne Gaskill had 2 kills, 2

We are gearing up for Districts as we received a bye in the first round & we will take on the winner of Tecumseh/Adrian on Wednesday 11-1-23 at 5:30 in Milan.

Homer fell to Addison 25-23, 18-25, 24-26, 19-25

Kennedy Miller led the night 21 kills and 5 block kills
Paige Austin and Mati Stocchi had 13 digs
Emma Jones had 21assists and Alexis Mesdagh had 16.
We just played a very good team. We played tough but we had some moments we froze and a lot of missed serves. We had moments to walk away with the game and then just let up. Good teams are going to run with that.
Homer is now 6-4 in the conference 26-7-1 overall and will finish league play at E. Jackson on Thursday.
