On Wednesday, the #9 Panthers girls tennis team traveled to Vicksburg for a regional tri. The Panthers came away with a 7-1 victory over Vicksburg and a 5-3 victory over Edwardsburg to improve their regional record to 5-0 and their overall record to 11-4-1. Those with victories in both matches were 1 singles Dru Porter, 4 singles Ellie McCollum, 1 doubles Becca Brushaber & Chehek Bharatiya, 3 doubles Anna Wilcox & Karly Foster and 4 doubles Anna Willinger & Silvia Baker. Next up for the girls is the Portland Quad on Saturday beginning at 9 am. Let’s go Panthers!

Golf
The Columbia Central Boys’ golf team played in the East Jackson Invitational on Wednesday, May 7th at Calderone GC. The team finished 9th out of 20 teams, with a score of 352. The team was led by junior Adam Senkewitz, who finished with a score of 83 on the day. Their next event will be a league jamboree at Gauss Green Valley hosted by Napoleon.
