The Golden Eagle Bowlers showed some strength Wednesday night when they visited Michigan Center at Suburban Lanes.
In their first road game of the season the girls dominated winning 28-2. Alexis Henry led all scorers with games of 222 and 209. Kayleigh Molnar had a 202 followed by Amber Johnson with games of 182 and 169. The girls moved to 4-0 on the season.
The boys struck early winning both baker games. After falling behind in the first regular game they battled back to win game 1 by 20 pins and securing the match. Landon Miller and Christopher Holcomb lead the team with matching 188 games. David Bielby had a 166. The boys are 3-1.
Grass Lake
12-13-23 Grass Lake vs Vandercook. The Warrior won both Baker games taking a 10-0 lead into individual games. The Warriors took all the individual points and both games 969 to 693 and 1011 to 599 to get the win 30-0. For the 4th striaght match Brice Sandoval had atleast 1 clean game in each match leading the Warrior yesterday with a another clean game of 237 and 234 game for huge 471 set. Tyler Paul help out 1st game with good 195 score. In 2nd individual play got great team help from Frank Bednarski 213 game, Logan Torcolacci 204 game and Max Schafran 202 game.
Wrestling
Varsity wrestling was in action last night at Jonesville with Addison. First match against Addison was lost on criteria, making the final score 37-36. Our second dual against Jonesville was also close 45-33 with Jonesville taking the win. The Blackhawks are currently 3-3 on the season in dual meets.
