Kelsey Fausz (2026) collected three hits in three at bats, as Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles defeated Leslie 16-0 on Monday. Fausz (2026) singled in the second inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first inning.

Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles scored 10 runs in the first inning on the way to victory. Gianna Evans (2025) grounded out, scoring one run, Rylee Knapp (2026) singled, scoring one run, Camden Knapp (2027) was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Raell Bice (2028) drew a walk, scoring one run, Fausz (2026) drew a walk, scoring one run, Gabby Gaydosh (2028) drew a walk, scoring one run, Evans (2025) singled, scoring two runs, and Hailey Wetherby singled, scoring two runs.

Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI singles by Bice (2028) and Fausz (2026).

Wetherby (2027) earned the win for Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking none. Fogg opened the game for Leslie. The hurler surrendered 10 hits and 16 runs (seven earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out one and walking six.

Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles collected 10 hits in the game. Evans (2025) provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles with four runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Bice (2028) collected two hits for Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles in two at bats. Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles scored seven runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Leslie 12-2 on Monday. Fogg induced Savannah MacBlain (2028) to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, Kelsey Fausz (2026) singled, scoring two runs, Gabby Gaydosh (2028) laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run, Rylee Knapp (2026) singled, scoring one run, Leelyn Brown (2028) doubled, scoring one run, and Camden Knapp (2027) singled, scoring one run.

In the top of the third inning, Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles went back into the lead after Gianna Evans (2025) tripled down the right field line, Wetherby (2027) doubled to center field, and Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

Knapp (2027) began the game for Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles. The right-handed pitcher gave up four hits and two runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out nine and walking three.

Fogg led things off in the circle for Leslie. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and 12 runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking one.
