Emily Brown (2025) collected three hits in four at bats, as Grass Lake Varsity Warriors defeated Michigan Center 13-1 on Wednesday. Brown (2025) hit a home run to center field in the fifth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.
Grass Lake Varsity Warriors scored eight runs in the fifth inning on the way to victory. Brown (2025) homered to center field, scoring three runs, Makenzie Hilberer (2027) singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Nadene Hubbard (2025) singled, scoring two runs, and Morgan “Mo” Conrad (2026) doubled, scoring one run.
Grass Lake Varsity Warriors got on the board in the top of the first inning after Bree Salts (2025) singled to center field, Addalynn Hensen (2026) singled to center field, and Hubbard (2025) doubled to center field, each scoring one run.
Grass Lake Varsity Warriors added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Conrad (2026) grounded out, and Kennedy Collins (2028) singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
