The Panthers lost a close one in the opening round of districts. Nick Allen started on the mound, with Ben Parrott coming in to finish. From the plate, the Panthers totaled 7 hits. Ben Parrott led the way with 3, while VanRiper and Trudell each had 2. The Panthers battled all game, and never gave in. Western finishes the year at 12-15.

A walk-off left Grass Lake Varsity Warriors on the wrong end of a 4-3 defeat to Leslie Varsity Blackhawks on Saturday. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Adrianna Fogg singled, scoring one run.
Grass Lake Varsity Warriors got on the board in the first inning after Emily Brown (2025) hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Grass Lake Varsity Warriors scored two runs in the top of the third on a home run to left field by Olivia Turner (2024).
Kaelyn Adair walked, which helped Leslie Varsity Blackhawks tie the game at three in the bottom of the sixth.
Ada Bradford earned the win for Leslie Varsity Blackhawks. The righty allowed seven hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking none. Morgan “Mo” Conrad (2026) took the loss for Grass Lake Varsity Warriors. The right-handed pitcher went six and two-thirds innings, surrendering four runs on 10 hits, striking out seven and walking two.
Olivia Turner (2024) provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Grass Lake Varsity Warriors with two runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Leilah Smith (2026), Rylee Fitzpatrick (2024), and Olivia Turner (2024) each collected two hits for Grass Lake Varsity Warriors. Grass Lake Varsity Warriors didn’t commit a single error in the field. Bree Salts (2025) had the most chances in the field with seven.
Leslie Varsity Blackhawks amassed 10 hits in the game. Adrianna Fogg drove the middle of the lineup, leading Leslie Varsity Blackhawks with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-4 on the day. Sahara Burley and Myah Fletcher each collected multiple hits for Leslie Varsity Blackhawks. Leslie Varsity Blackhawks didn’t commit a single error in the field. Myah Fletcher had the most chances in the field with six.
