Two recent high school graduates with bright golfing futures have earned this year’s Jackson Golf Hall of Fame college scholarships.

Western High’s Hayden Kim and Columbia Central’s Logan Bentley each received $750 awards, given to seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA who played high school golf. Recipients are chosen based on achievements, future plans, and an essay on how golf has shaped their lives.

Kim will study PGA Golf Management at Eastern Kentucky University, aiming to become a club pro. He says the game has taught him valuable skills like dedication, communication, and perseverance.

Bentley will play Division I golf at Oakland University after an outstanding career that included three regional titles and multiple all-state honors. She says golf’s challenges and setbacks have motivated her to push harder toward her goals.

Both were honored for their talent, work ethic, and commitment to the game.
