
On Monday,in girls tennis #9 Western defeated Stevensville Lakeshore 7-1 to improve their overall record to 14-4-2. Highlights for the night were wins at 1 singles where Dru Porter finished first and received the coveted Victory Poncho, as well as a win by 2 singles Ali Carmody who had a tough battle winning 6-4, 6-3 and all the doubles won only losing a total of 5 games between the 4 teams. Next up for the Panthers is the regional tournament with doubles at Marshall High School and singles at Olivet College on Wednesday beginning at 9 am. Let’s go Panthers!
The Columbia Central girls tennis team tied Northwest tonight 4-4. Winners for the Golden Eagles were Lydia Sanders, Hannah Tacy, Madonna Chehade, Olivia Slusher and Kennedy Mitoska.
