Good evening. The Pirates finally got their bats going scoring 37 runs on 28 hits over the DH. Hayden Rendall had 3 home runs and 9 RBI on the day. Also, we got two great pitching performances from Kaitlyn Fall and Hannah Hamlin.
Hayden Rendall hit two home runs and drove in six as Napoleon Varsity Pirates defeated Jonesville Varsity Comets 19-0 on Wednesday. Rendall homered in the second and third innings.
Napoleon Varsity Pirates got on the board in the first inning after Hannah Hamlin lined out, scoring one run.
Napoleon Varsity Pirates scored seven runs on four hits in the top of the second inning. Haven Marker drew a walk, scoring one run, Camryn Smilowski singled, scoring two runs, Rendall homered to right field, scoring three runs, and Kaitlyn Fall doubled, scoring one run.
Napoleon Varsity Pirates added four more runs in the top of the third inning on three hits. An error scored one run, and Rendall homered to right field, scoring three runs.

Kaitlyn Fall singled, scoring two runs, Kiera Hoard singled, scoring one run, Haven Marker drew a walk, scoring one run, Camryn Smilowski drew a walk, scoring one run, Hayden Rendall homered to right field, scoring three runs, and Allison Dillay drew a walk, scoring one run.
Jonesville Varsity Comets got on the board in the first inning after Alexis Trine singled, scoring one run.
Napoleon Varsity Pirates jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Napoleon Varsity Pirates scored on a wild pitch, Hannah Hamlin tripled down the left field line, and Fall singled to right field, each scoring one run.

Bella Wrozek kept the Titans in it until they could get the bats going. She struck out 11 and Lumen got the bats going in the 5th inning, scoring all 5 runs over the last 3 innings. Bree Okoniewski and Alison Furnas each had 2 hits to lead the offense.
