Jonesville Stats

The varsity volleyball team lost a tough match at home last night in 3 sets to a very solid Hanover Horton team. The Comets kept it very close in set one losing 23-25 and then struggled to get some momentum back and keep up with Hanover’s aggressive offense and tough serves. Morgan Wood led the team with 8 kills followed by Korra Estel with 5 and Natalynn Beach with 5. Haley Mach led the way in the back row with 10 digs followed by Olivia Tyler and Korra Estel each with 6 and Carley Graves added 15 assists. We were much more aggressive as a team at the net, got a lot of blocks, and overall matched Hanover’s tough offense in the front row. As a team, we struggled settling in on serve receive and just gave away too many points off of our errors, and we can’t do that when competing against tough teams like Hanover. The Comets are looking to bounce back quickly as we travel to Olivet Thursday  for matches with Olivet and Potterville.
