Trajan Langdon Bolsters Detroit Pistons’ Front Office

Detroit Pistons’ new president of basketball operations, Trajan Langdon, continues to build a formidable front office. Dennis Lindsey has been hired as the senior vice president of basketball operations, joining newcomers Michael Blackstone and J.R. Holden, a team source confirmed to the Free Press on Tuesday.

Lindsey brings a wealth of experience, having been an advisor for the Dallas Mavericks and holding multiple high-ranking roles with the Utah Jazz from 2012-21. During his tenure, the Jazz, led by Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, reached the Western Conference semifinals.

Blackstone will oversee cap strategy, while Holden, Langdon’s former teammate at CSKA Russia, will utilize his extensive scouting background. With the 2024 NBA draft on the horizon, several prospects are catching the eyes of Pistons fans:

Donovan Clingan and Stephon Castle (UConn)
Reed Sheppard (Kentucky)
Matas Buzelis (G-League Ignite)
Dalton Knecht (Tennessee)
Kevin McCullar Jr. (Kansas)
Kyshawn George (Miami)
Stay tuned as the Pistons gear up for a promising future under their revamped leadership.
