Head coach Derek Lalonde saw a silver lining in the Detroit Red Wings’ 7-6 shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night at Little Caesars Arena.
“We battled,” Lalonde said. “We’ve done it all year, just kept battling. Down 4-2 and 6-4, obviously a game not going our way with the way some things were going…We just hung in there. All in all, that’s a really good point.”
