Friday night at Battle Creek Pennfield legendary Lumen Christi High School football coach Herb Brogan goes for milestone win number 371. By defeating BC Harper Creek last Friday Brogan won his 370th game and moved into a tie for 3rd all-time with former Detroit Catholic Central coach Tom Mach. With a win on Friday Brogan would only trail 44 year coach at Brother Rice Al Fracassa who is 430-117-7 and Farmington Hills Harrison’s Jon Herrington at 443-112-1. If Brogan gets the win on Friday his 371-84 record would have the best winning percentage out of the top 4 coaches.
Despite the achievement it is still difficult to get Coach Brogan to talk about himself. It’s always about the kids…
