Jackson College Hoops Women Beat KVCC

The Jackson College Women’s basketball team won their 3rd straight game on Saturday on the road vs. Kalamazoo Valley Community College.  The Jets didn’t shoot the ball particularly well, just 29.3% (17-58) from the floor and just 18.2% (2-11) from 3-point range.  The Jets were able to add 26 points from the free throw line shooting 80.2% (29-36).

The Jets led 13-9 after the first quarter.  KVCC stayed close at the half and only trailed by 3.  Jackson added to their lead in the third quarter and pulled away in the fourth to win it 65-49.
