Up and Down Round for Stuard on Day 1 of the Masters

Brian Stuard opened his career at the masters with a triple bogey 7 on the first hole.  From that point on he struggled to find consistency.  His final 17 holes went like this: birdie, bogey, par, par, birdie, bogey, par, par, par, bogey, par, birdie, bogey, 3 pars, and a bogey.  His first round 77 leaves him 5 over and 7 shots off the lead as I post this article.

Stuard has his work cut out for him on day 2.  Certainly his +5 score will leave him in the bottom quarter of the leaderboard and on the outside looking in as far as making the cut for day 3.

Stay tuned to WKHM and ESPN 101.9 for updates on Stuard.  You can follow his progress on the official Masters leaderboard here.
