Late goals sink Red Wings in 8-2 loss to Rangers

Jonatan Berggren’s NHL debut was spoiled by the New York Rangers, who beat the Detroit Red Wings, 8-2, on Thursday night at Little Caesars Arena.

Joe Veleno and Lucas Raymond both scored for the Red Wings, who allowed six unanswered goals in the third period. Ville Husso made 25 saves in the loss.
