
Men’s Basketball
Wayne County 57, Jackson College 49: Savonn Campbell scored 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds in a road loss at Wayne County. Tareek Galadima scored nine points and Bobby Roberts and Joshue Christian added eight points apiece for Jackson College (3-20 overall, 1-8 MCCAA). Jackson College hosts St. Clair County Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Women’s Basketball
Jackson College 94, Wayne County 48: Michelle McGee scored 24 points and created seven steals for Jackson. Kaylona Butler scored 22 points and Zoie Bamm added 18 points and 15 rebounds. The Jets host St. Clair County Wednesday beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Bowling
Jackson College at MCCAA: Jackson College finished first in the women’s event and second in the men’s MCCAA Tournament. Abby Gutowski was first in the women’s event averaging 205, Haley Wallace was second 665), Mikayla DeBoe was third (586), and Chloe Maniford was seventh (564). Maniford and Sydney Nichols won the double competition by 153 pins. Mason Keen was second in the singles (702), Charlie Porter was eighth (624), and Tobyn LePeak 15th (621). Earning all-conference honors for the men were Keene and Porter and for the women Gutowski, Manifold, and Nichols. Jackson College competes in the Region XII Championship at Royal Scot Bowling Center next Friday beginning at 9 a.m.
