Jackson College 2, Henry Ford 1: Marcus Patton drove in both runs for Jackson College with a double and fielder’s choice. Gabe Jones finished with two hits in the contest. Luke Micunek earned the pitching win striking out seven batters in six innings pitched.
Jackson College 6, Henry Ford 1: Colin Presnar pitched seven strong innings for JC. He struck out six batters and scattered three hits in the win. Caden Oliver finished with two hits and Henry Major drove in two runs for Jackson College. Jackson improves to 13-4 in conference play, 21-16 overall. They lead the Eastern Division by four games with a number of makeup and regular season games remaining. The Jets return to action Tuesday to face Davenport’s junior varsity for a nine-inning game at 3 p.m.
Softball
Kalamazoo Valley 3, Jackson College 2: Addison Bobbio had one hit and one RBI in the contest for JC. The Jets only tallied three hits in the contest.
Jackson College 9, Kalamazoo Valley 2: Sydney Schuler hit a home run and knocked in two runs for Jackson College. Rayannah Burke pitched a complete game striking out six batters in the process. The Jets are now 16-14 overall, 12-10 in the conference. JC will host Lansing Community College Friday for a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.

Baseball
Jackson 4, Henry Ford 3: The Jets scored three runs in the fifth inning to break open a close game. Jackson scored four run on five hits led by Jared Krams with one hit and one RBI in the contest.
Henry Ford 10, Jackson 6: Henry Ford posted eight runs in the third inning to overcome the Jets. Henry Major and Jared Kramp both finished with two hits and two RBIs for JC. The Jets are now 19-16 for the season, 11-4 in conference play. Jackson College is hosting Henry Ford today in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
Men’s Golf
Jackson College Invitational: The Jets finished ninth at the Michigan Community College Athletic Association jamboree at Arbor Hills Golf Club. Jackson College finished with a four-man total of 360. Michael Klintworth led Jackson with a 76, Isaac Anuszkiewicz shot an 81, Ted Trujillo carded an 87, and Cooper Johnston shot a 96. Grand Rapids won the event with a four-man total of 312. Conference play continues Monday at Muskegon at Stonegate Golf Club beginning at 10 a.m.
Softball
Jackson College 11, Glen Oaks 5: The Jets won the opening game of the doubleheader at Glen Oaks Community College. Jackson scored 10 of its 11 runs in the last three innings. JC used the long ball to score as Addison Bobbio, Ashley Sturgis, Carmyn MacKenzie, and Elianna Noll hit home runs in the contest. Sturgill finished with three RBIs to lead the Jets.
Glen Oaks 10, Jackson College 2: Glen Oaks won a five-inning game against the Jets. Alana Knox had one hit and knocked in both runs for the Jets. Jackson (15-13 overall) will travel to Kalamazoo Valley today for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
