The Michigan Center Girls Varsity beat Concord 44-35 tonight. Cardinals were down 13-5 after 1 and 20-17 at halftime, but outscored Concord 17-4 in the 3rd. MC didn’t make a field goal in the 4th quarter, but went a perfect 10 for 10 from the free throw line to ice it. Samantha Wynn led MC with 18 points. Hailey Mees added 8 points and 10 rebounds. McKynley Gaddy had 7 steals and 6 assists. MC is now 2-0.
