Western 2 vs. Coldwater 1 gm1 Game one Coldwater scored in the 2nd inning taking an early lead. In the top of the 4th inning, Abby Nieswender tied the game with a solo home run to left center! The top of the 6th, Alivia Hall hit a single, Shaunicy Hendricks bunted for a base hit, and Abby N was intentionally walked. Hailey Whisman hit a shot at the shortstop to score Alivia. The Panthers defense held on for the win 2-1!  Whisman pitched a solid game striking out twelve, walking just two batters.  Hits were collected by Nieswender with two, Whisman, Hendricks, and Hall added singles.
Western 0, Coldwater 1. Game two was a pitching duel. Coldwater scored in the 6th and the Panthers left a runner at 2nd base in the top of the 7th.  Whisman took the 0-1 loss striking out nine batters not giving up a walk.  Hitters for Western included Alivia Hall with two, Kenadee Golas, Abby Nieswender, and Nicole Wilson with singles.
The Panthers are now 15-6 overall and 7-3 in the I8.
Lumen Christi 8, Northwest 2 gm1 Bella Wrozek pitched 7 strong innings giving up only 1 earned to get the victory. The Titans offense helped her out with 11 hits and 8 runs. Bree Okoniewski, Allison O’Dowd, and Kadence Hinkley each had 2 hits for Lumen.
Lumen Christi 0, Northwest 10 gm2 The Titans couldn’t get anything going offensively in game 2, only managing 1 hit.

Western 5, Coldwater 1 gm1 Troy Gilpin threw a complete game, only giving up one run. It was a total team effort offensively throughout both games. Mannor, Wagner, and Oliver all had hits in the first game.
Western 6, Coldwater 0 gm2  Nick Allen threw six shutout innings, while Caden Oliver came in and closed the door in the 7th. Parrott, Oliver, Braun, McAninch, Mannor, and Wagner all had hits for the Panthers. The Panthers move to 14-4 on the season, and will host Battle Creek Lakeview on Wednesday at Western.
