The Detroit Red Wings were shut out by the Tampa Bay Lightning, 3-0, on Saturday night at Little Caesars Arena.
The Red Wings outshot the Lightning in all three periods. After finishing the opening frame with a 12-9 advantage, Detroit outshot Tampa Bay 20-3 in the second and 13-6 in the third, but could not solve opposing goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy.
