Jackson College Basketball splits on the road this weekend at Wayne County Community College.
The women get the 78-64 win on Saturday. Top scorers for the Jets include Nakiya Sigman with 20, Kaycee Shannon had 15, Moran Morris had 11, Jada Patton and Dharyauna Pierce had 10 each. The Lady Jets are 20-1 on the season and 9-0 in conference play. They are ranked 16th nationally in the National Junior College Athletic Association DII poll.
The Men fell on the road to WC3 69-67. Top scorers for the Jets include Brent Wiles with 16, Brayden Pearson and Akhwari Smith with 14 each, Gave Damey with 8, and Zavier Ford-Belton with 7. The men are now 14-8 on the season and 3-6 in conference play.
Both teams are back home this Wednesday and host St. Clair County Community College. The women tip off at 5:30, the men at 7:30.
