The Lumen Christi Titans football team had just enough on Saturday to edge out the previously undefeated Schoolcraft Eagles in a district championship game.
The difference in the final score in Saturday’s Lumen /Schoolcraft match-up would come in the form of a 22 yd field goal kicked by Abe Johnson.
The Titans will return home next week to play against a Napoleon Pirates team that beat Grass Lake Friday night 42-21. Napoleon is 9-2 and hasn’t lost since week 2 in their first meeting with Grass Lake.
